Sydney Cash has taught at Pratt Institute, The New Jersey City University and The Brooklyn Museum Art School. He has received fellowships from the New York Foundation for the Arts and The National Endowment for the Arts.
Melissa Pritchard, Professor of English at Arizona State University and author of eight books, has received numerous awards, including The Flannery O'Connor Award and a grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Dariel Suarez is a Cuban-born writer who came to the United States in 1997. He earned his M.F.A. in fiction at Boston University, where he was a Global Fellow.

Major Jackson is the author of three poetry collections: Holding Company (Norton, 2010), Hoops, and Leaving Saturn.
