Anthony Mead

Anthony Mead

Mead was born and raised in Michigan. He received his BFA in printmaking from Kendall College of Art and Design. During the spring 2009 semester Mead studied at Florence School of Fine Arts. In 2010 he co-founded Dinderbeck, community artist studio. From 2012-2016 he worked at KCAD teaching adjunct, as a printmaking lab technician, a preparator at numerous galleries and museums, and co-operating Dinderbeck. Mead has shown his work throughout the United States. In 2016 he began studies at Arizona State University pursuing his MFA. Mead’s work focuses on tools, technologies, language, categories, systems, culture, the natural world and interconnectivity.

Ashley Miller works with photography, found objects, and installation. She received a degree in liberal arts from Evergreen State College and is presently an instructor of photography at University of New Mexico while completing her graduate studies.

Ben Willis

Ben Willis

Ben Willis is an artist working in Tempe, Arizona. He was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and moved to Arizona to pursue his Master’s of Fine Arts degree in Painting and Drawing at Arizona State University. The pattern paintings Ben makes now derive from concepts of optical art. In contrast his use of materials has allowed him to go beyond creating a visual depth, adding a third dimension of suspending paint, iridescent pigment and glitter in many layers of resin. Professionally Willis is currently Painting and Drawing Adjunct Faculty at Phoenix College and Prepartaor at Phoenix Art Museum.

Chelsea is a self-taught artist based out of Los Angeles, CA. With a background in journalism, political theory, and women’s studies she carves a circuitous path towards her vision of a more resilient and life-affirming existence through creative expression. Utilizing collage, paint, photography, and digital design - her work calls into question the status quo -  and draws on her interests in postmodern philosophy, social justice, power dynamics, and identity. She currently creates an array of work for creative agencies, individual commissions, and contract clients. She will begin her MFA at Art Center in Pasadena in the Fall of 2017.

John Kirsch is an editor for a publishing company in Mexico City where he publishes English-language books, fiction and nonfiction, about Mexican society and history. Before moving to Mexico he worked as a reporter (and occasional photographer) for papers in Iowa, his native state, and Texas. His photographs have been published in The Adirondack Review, Buffalo Almanack, Blue Mesa Review and The Ofi Press Magazine, among others.

Lizzy Taber

Lizzy Taber is currently an MFA candidate at Arizona State University. She is a Florida native and received her BFA in Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking at the University of North Florida in 2014. Recently she has exhibited in galleries across the country and has been recognized for her special talent in Printmaking. Lizzy has been traveling for the past few years and is creating work that is influenced by her personal experiences. Her current work is inspired by her interests in geology while focusing closely on human connection and emotion.

Flores works mostly with the graphite and charcoal medium, but has recently started working with other mediums, including oil and acrylic paint. He has received an AA degree in the fine arts at Phoenix College and A BFA from Arizona State University. He has been included in several group exhibitions around the Phoenix area and had a solo exhibition for Phoenix Institute of Contemporary Art (PhICA) in 2015. Flores has had two solo exhibitions in Mexico in 2016.
