Cynthia Hogue

Cynthia Hogue has published seven collections of poetry, most recently, Or Consequence and When the Water Came: Evacuees of Hurricane Katrina, interview-poems and photographs (with Rebecca Ross), both in 2010. She co-translated Fortino Sámano (the overflowing of the poem), by Virginie Lalucq and Jean-Luc Nancy (Omnidawn 2012). Among her honors are an NEA in poetry, the H.D. Fellowship at the Beinecke Library at Yale University, and the Witter Bynner Translation Residency Fellowship at the Santa Fe Art Institute. Hogue is the Maxine and Jonathan Marshall Chair in Modern and Contemporary Poetry in the English Department at ASU.© University of Arizona Poetry Center

Faye Rapoport DesPres holds an M.F.A. from the Solstice Program in Creative Writing at Pine Manor College. Her personal essays, interviews, and book reviews have appeared, or are forthcoming, in Ascent, damselfly press, Eleven Eleven, Fourth Genre, Hamilton Stone Review, Prime Number Magazine, Writer Advice, the Writers Chronicle, and other publications. Faye was born in New York City, has lived in England, Israel, and Colorado, and currently resides in the Boston area.

Erin Grauel just passed her thesis defense and will be receiving an MFA in creative nonfiction from the University of New Orleans in May 2011. She grew up on the beaches of South Carolina has an English Degree from Coastal Carolina University. Erin is currently working on a collection of essays tentatively entitled, "Essays in which a Militant Nerd has Fun."

George Estreich received his M.F.A. in poetry from Cornell University. His book of poems, Textbook Illustrations of the Human Body, won the Rhea and Seymour Gorsline Prize from Cloudbank Books. His memoir about raising a daughter with Down syndrome, The Shape of the Eye, was published recently by Southern Methodist University Press. He lives in Oregon with his family.

She lives in Winooski, Vermont, and enjoys cooking, gardening, writing, and spending time with family and friends.
