Lucas Foglia—born in 1983—grew up on a small family farm in New York and graduated from Brown University and the Yale School of Art. Foglia's photographs are exhibited and collected internationally.

Laurie Notaro was born in Brooklyn, New York, spent the remainder of her formative years in Phoenix, and now lives in Eugene OR.

MacArthur “Genius Grant” fellow George Saunders is the acclaimed author of several collections of short stories, including Pastoralia and CivilWarLand in Bad Decline, as well as a collection of essays and a book for children.
Meg Thompson teaches at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. Her work has appeared in DIAGRAM, The Journal, and McSweeney's (online).
